From the Summer Garden

I am doing a Nigel French series on using textures in Photoshop CS5 on lynda.com and played around with an old photo I took of some of my roses. I learned how to separate out the different values in an image and then I either applied a filter or blend mode or both to the separate value layers. I used filters from Mister Retro Machine Wash Deluxe and Filter Forge. Great fun!
